The second series of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is about to drop – and it’s more extraordinary than ever before.
Miraculous follows the adventures of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a shy high school student who inherits a pair of earrings that allow her to transform into superhero Ladybug. Fighting alongside Marinette is fellow superhero Cat Noir, the alter-ego of her classmate and secret crush Adrien Agreste.
There’s one small caveat: Marinette and Adrien must use their powers for good and protect the city of Paris from the evil Hawk Moth – who wants to steal their powers to transform everyday Parisians into his supervillain minions.
After a critically-acclaimed first series and worldwide distribution, Ladybug and Cat Noir are back on Monday, May 20 for a second outing on POP.
The new trailer teases some miraculous new reveals in the upcoming second series, including the unveiling of supervillain Hawk Moth. Who could Ladybug and Cat Noir’s biggest adversary really be?
Then there’s the reveal that the crime-fighting team may be joining forces with their biggest rival, the spoilt mayor’s daughter Chloé Bourgeois.
And one other thing, could this series be the series that Marinette and Adrien finally confirm their feelings for one another?
We know one thing – we can’t wait to get started.
