Harry Potter stars reunite in new trailer for 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts Sky special
A new trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter film reunion Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts has been released online.
The one-off special, which airs exclusively on Sky and NOW TV in the UK, celebrates two decades of film witchcraft and wizardry.
The trailer features contributions from Harry, Ron and Hermione actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as well as other big name alumni such as Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes.
Notably absent is Harry Potter author JK Rowling, who will not appear in person in the special after her controversial tweets on gender identity, which were condemned by many of the film’s cast.
The special was filmed at Leavesden Studios in Watford, home of the Harry Potter Studio Tour, earlier this year. Other stars confirmed to appear include Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Ian Hart, Toby Jones, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, producer David Heyman and filmmakers Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuarón, Mike Newell and David Yates.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will premiere on Sky on New Year’s Day at 8pm. The special will also be available on Sky’s streaming service NOW TV.
