X Factor’s Nicole Scherzinger teams up with Black Eyed Peas for new anthem
It has been revealed that X Factor Judge, Nicole Scherzinger, has been in the studio with the Black Eyed Peas gang, including The Voice‘s will.i.am. The singers have reportedly been recording a new club hit, as they were spotted at Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, West London, on Monday at around midnight. The Black Eyed Peas and a Pussy Cat Doll combined? Now, that’s a serious power team.
A source explained: “Nicole met all four members and was laying down vocals until the early hours”. They described the new single as “a massive dance floor filler”. It is hoped that the new song will include lyrics relating to Scherzy’s new man, Grigor Dimitrov.
Interesting fact: Nicole was actually the original choice for the female lead of the Black Eyed Peas before Fergie. You better keep an eye on your territory Fergie!
Forget creating smash-hit singles, both Scherzy and will.i.am have a lot more on their plate at the moment. Nicole Scherzinger is busy mentoring her category, the Boys, on the X Factor, who will be auditioning at the Judges’ Houses this weekend, and she is also gearing up for the X Factor live shows which will begin in nine days time. Meanwhile, we are pleased to hear that our favourite judge, will.i.am, has been confirmed for another series of The Voice. He will be searching for the next big talent alongside Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale.
What a busy pair! We will keep our fingers crossed for a performance from this collaboration of artists, once the X Factor live shows begin.
X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
