Stephanie Pratt says she will “never leave” Made In Chelsea
Stephanie Pratt, originally from Los Angeles in California, began her television career on the famous MTV reality series The Hills, which starred her older brother, Spencer Pratt. Tired of her life in the States, Stephanie eventually abandoned her LA home in order to create a fresh start for herself in the UK, and three years ago she joined London’s richest and poshest on the E4 hit show Made in Chelsea.
And now it looks like there is no turning back for Stephanie, who has revealed that she does not ever plan to quit the programme. Despite the numerous break-ups, rumours and rows that she has encountered whilst on the show, Stephanie admitted: “It’s my home. I will never leave Made in Chelsea. It’s been three years. It’s like a family.”
She may have no intention of turning her back on MIC any time soon, but Stephanie’s love life may be less of a focus on the show now that she has settled down with her new boyfriend, Mr. Joey Essex. The couple met on the recent dating series, Celebs Go Dating, and their relationship has been picking up the pace ever since. It seems her Essex man is able to give her something that all of those posh-boys weren’t able to. She explained, “He’s been the first boyfriend I have been with that hasn’t hinted at me to change, which is a real big thing. I just know I want to be with him. When you’re in a relationship you need to realise guys can almost be a bully to your body confidence. I’ve only realised that looking back. You’ve got to be mature to get into a relationship. If you live on a man’s compliment, you will die on his criticisms.”
“I got my confidence when I moved to the UK. I got all my confidence through working. Ever since the age of 13 I have struggled with self-esteem. I was always a tomboy, I didn’t have my first boyfriend until I was 17. I took the role people gave me. I never got attention. It’s such a struggle being a young girl. It’s a dog-eat-dog world.”
With her new-found confidence and relationship, we are sure Stephanie will be absolutely killing it in the new, upcoming series of Made in Chelsea. We are pleased to hear that the LA girl will be staying in UK territory and entertaining us with her dramatic and glamorous life-style for a little while longer.
Made in Chelsea continues on E4 with Series 12 later this year.
