Sky Living acquires Blindspot, The Catch and Limitless for UK
Sky Living has a reputation for killing it with its amazing U.S programming – a reputation which has today been strengthened by the announcement that three massive shows, Blindspot, The Catch and Limitless will be joining the channel.
The new additions to the Sky Living line-up will be available to UK viewers for the first time from this autumn.
We’re sure you’ve already heard lots about these hotly anticipated shows from across the Atlantic. But just in case you’ve been living under a rock, here’s the rundown.
Starring Thor‘s Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe – a woman who wakes up with no memory and no clothes on, covered in cryptic tattoos and crawling out of a bag in the middle of New York’s Times Square – action thriller Blindspot is already a smash in the US, hooking viewers as we join Jane in unlocking the mysteries of her identity.
Meanwhile, The Catch is the latest gift to TV from hit factory Shonda Rhimes (Scandal, Gray’s Anatomy), which centres around the strong, successful Alice Martin (Mireille Enos); a fraud investigator who’s about to become a victim of fraud herself at the hands of her fiancé (Peter Krause).
And need we give any introduction to Limitless?? Based on the hugely successful 2011 film, this new series delves deeper into the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT, with Jake McDorman of American Sniper taking on the lead. Did we mention that his American Sniper co-star and original Limitless leading man Bradley Cooper will also make part of the cast? We need no further convincing.
Julia Barry, Director of Sky Living, said of the new acquisitions:
“At Sky Living, we know how passionate our customers are about our shows because they tell us how much they love them. So we’re giving them even more. With these brilliant new series, we’re adding some of the most talked about, ‘can’t-look-away’ TV to our already fantastic line-up of the biggest US network hits, really cementing Sky Living’s reputation as the home of the most engrossing, addictive drama out there.”
You’re gonna wanna tune in.
