Will Smith has another Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans rejoice as Will Smith joins the old gang once again for another reunion.
The Fresh Prince himself has been hanging out with his old co-stars in Malibu and we couldn’t be happier about it. Alfonso Ribeiro, AKA Carlton, took to Instagram to share a group picture of the crew soaking up the sun by the sea front.
Alfonso captioned the picture with a touching message referencing the well-loved James Avery, who played Uncle Phil and sadly passed away in December 2013 following complications during open heart surgery.
He wrote: “Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.”
Alfonso and Will were joined by Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Daphne Etta Maxwell (Vivian) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey).
As much as we love these reunions, unfortunately it does not seem likely that they will ever amount to a revival of the popular television series. Will recently revealed that he does not think there will be a reboot of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The actor responded to speculation following the circulation of rumours in 2015 in which it was supposed a new series of the beloved show was in the works, with him as a producer. However, Will denied rumours, explaining: “I don’t think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over. We’re going to leave that one alone.”
Well, at least we will always have the old series (which is available to watch on Netflix, by the way).
