Sharon Osbourne may be forced to quit the X Factor
X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has revealed that it may be difficult for her to return to the show next year.
Simon Cowell has already admitted that he wants the same judges to make a comeback to the ITV singing competition in 2017. He confirmed to The Sun that he would love to keep the panel “forever”, commenting: “They have been a breeze. I’ve really enjoyed working with them.”
However, this may be easier said that done for Mrs O.
Last week Sharon confessed: “I would love to come back but I’m in a difficult position.
“I’m signed to CBS and I’ve been with them for seven years with amazing women on The Talk and it’s up to Simon to see if they’ll let me do it.
“My whole life is travel so if I hadn’t been here I would’ve been in South America with Ozzy so the travelling doesn’t bother me it’s that I had to keep going back each week for the show.”
Well, we’re sure if anyone can make it happen, Simon can. It is true that Sharon’s erratic and forgetful behaviour actually kind of made the show in a weird way this year, so we would love to see the craziness return for a second year running in 2017.
While Sharon’s place on the X Factor remains uncertain, Louis Walsh has declared he will be back on the show for at least another two years.
The Irish judge said: “Yes, I’m back next year. I’ve signed for the next two years.”
Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger is keeping her cards close to her chest. The former Pussycat Doll teased: “I can’t confirm that I’m going to (be back) but I think if I did return it would have to be with this panel because I’m really close with this panel.
“I’ve really enjoyed myself and we’re really close.”
Right, Simon. Work your magic!
