Love Island spoiler: Adam apologises to Rosie in surprising turn of events
In a shocking turn of events, Adam Collard and Rosie Williams patch things up in tonight’s episode of Love Island.
We didn’t think Love Island villain of the year, Adam, was capable of remorse, but he’s taken us all by surprise and apologised to Rosie for his recent behavior.
After newcomer Sam Bird dug Adam out for his treatment of the women in the villa, Adam took Rosie away for a private chat.
He said: “I think that obviously things with me and you haven’t really worked out the best.
“And I’m sorry. I am actually sorry if you felt that way. Whatever you felt, I’m sorry that I upset you. I don’t like seeing anyone cry.”
“I appreciate that,” Rosie replied. “Seeing you and Zara and the way you are, I just think, because obviously we were close and when we were good we were good, but I didn’t not try if you get me. It was a bit both ways. It takes two to make an effort.”
“Well I’m sorry that you were upset, and it wasn’t nice seeing you upset,” Adam added. “I know we’ve got our differences but I didn’t want to see you like that, I really didn’t. I just thought at the time it was probably best to give you space.”
Rosie said: “That’s all I wanted, was to be your friend. But I did want you to know that I did really like you and I did have feelings for you.
“It was never fake on my part anyway and I did want to see what would happen and obviously it hasn’t worked out. All I want is just to be friends with you so I’m glad you pulled me up. Thank you. Want to hug it out?”
Later in the Beach Hut, Adam confessed: “I really do hope she gets whatever she wants to get out of the villa. I really do because it’s not nice seeing someone upset and hopefully it’ll be a bit of a distraction as well as something real. Me and Zara have got something going on so hopefully she can too.”
Well, who’d have thought we’d see the day?
Love Island continues tonight (Friday, June 22) at 9pm on ITV2.
