Jamie Laing’s Happy Hour: Made In Chelsea’s Jamie is a new YouTube sensation
Not only is Jamie Laing one of the most popular characters on Made in Chelsea, but he is now fast becoming one of the top dogs within the YouTube world with his internet show, Jamie Laing’s Happy Hour.
After the success of his online series, In Bed With Jamie, on All 4, the Chelsea boy has launched his own channel on Youtube, which is divided into a number of different series.
First we have the ‘Challenge’ videos. In these, Jamie invites a celebrity guest, who is most often another Made In Chelsea star, to participate in some sort of YouTube challenge.
In his most recent video, Jamie and his new love-interest, Frankie Gaff, try out various female beauty products. A definite highlight was watching Jamie suffer the pain of a waxing strip – payback time for all those cheating rumours, eh Frankie?

Jamie Laing’s Happy Hour also features a ‘Dare Jamie’ series, where fans are asked to tweet Jamie a dare using the hashtag #DareJamie, and Jamie delivers. Dares so far have included riding around on a bike naked, telling his mum that he is going to be a dad and convincing members of the public that he is a member of the royal family. The public reactions are absolutely hilarious.
The ‘Movie Night’ series sees Jamie experience new releases of films with a date or friends, in which we get to watch their reactions and listen in on conversations between Jamie and his guests.
Finally, there are the classic YouTube-style ‘Vlogs’. In these videos, we get a personal insight into Jamie’s life as we follow him around his daily routine or listen to him answer questions on camera. As he writes on his channel, “You may have seen me in Made in Chelsea, but you’ve NEVER seen me like this before.”
The YouTube series has been a hit with viewers, and Jamie fans have been singing its praises on Twitter.

Could this be a new possible direction in Jamie’s career? As much as we enjoy him on YouTube, we still very much want him to remain on Made in Chelsea for now though, please.
Made In Chelsea returns soon with a new series on E4.
