The Premier League is back: Where can I watch it?
It’s been a long time coming, but the Premier League will return this Wednesday (June 17) for the season’s remaining 92 fixtures.
It means Liverpool may (or may not) finally be able to claim the Premier League trophy – requiring just 6 points to clinch the 2019-2020 title. But the best news is that all of the sport’s remaining games will be televised, with a significant portion free-to-air.
The actions begins Wednesday with the two Premier League games that were cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns before the FA’s decision to suspend in March. Aston Villa will face Sheffield United at Villa Park on Sky Sports Premier League at 6pm, while the clash between Manchester City and Arsenal follows on the same channel at 8.15pm.
The weekend will kick start with two Friday evening games. Norwich vs Southampton will play on Sky One at 6pm, followed by Tottenham vs Man United on the same channel at 8.15pm.
Saturday sees four games in one day, including Watford vs Leicester (BT Sport 1, 12.30pm), Brighton vs Arsenal (BT Sport 1, 3pm), and West Ham vs Wolves (Sky Sports Premier League, 5.30pm). The most notable match of the day undoubtedly will be the 7.30pm kick off, Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace, which will mark the first time the Premier League has ever aired live on BBC One.
On Sunday, enjoy Newcastle vs Sheffield United (Sky One, 2pm), Aston Villa vs Chelsea (Sky Sports Premier League, 4.15pm) and finally, top-of-the-table’s Liverpool’s away game against Everton at Goodison Park on Sky One at 7pm.
