Ferne McCann to open up about Arthur Collins acid attack on First Time Mum
Ferne McCann will finally address the Arthur Collins acid attack when First Time Mum returns for a new series in May.
Arthur – Ferne’s ex-boyfriend and father to her daughter Sunday – is currently serving a 20-year jail sentence for an acid attack that took place in East London a year ago.
Ferne has previously avoided going into detail about her ex-boyfriend’s arrest, insisting she wanted to instead focus all her energies on her new baby girl.
However, a year later, it seems as though the former TOWIE star will finally speak about that difficult period of her life, when First Time Mum returns for its second instalment.
In a trailer for the ITVBe show, an emotional clip sees Ferne describe how her “whole life and world” was “turned upside down” by the horrific ordeal.
Snaps of Ferne and Arthur on holiday, just months before his arrest, are also shown as the reality star talks about her heartbreak.
The trailer continues to show footage of Ferne holding her new born baby girl minutes after going through labour, as a voiceover says: “After a world wind year, Fearne is leaving the drama and embracing life as a single mum.”
