Celebrity Gogglebox: Who’s On It This Year?
If seeing Noel Gallagher, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell cramped together on a sofa last year wasn’t entertainment enough for you, Celebrity Gogglebox is back this year with a stellar line-up.
To compete with the comedy greats like the Moffatts and Leon and June, Channel 4 has invited some of today’s quirkiest and funniest celebrities… and some of yesterday’s (sorry Boy George).
50 Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan cosies up to hilarious actor Nick Frost and if Nick doesn’t get you giggling, Jamie’s silky smooth Irish accent will help you get over it. Popstars Geri Halliwell and Marilyn (real name Paul Robinson) are teaming up with Boy George to provide their own commentary on a variety of shows.
Doing it for the families are Lee Mack and Miranda Hart. Lee is joined by his onscreen Not Going Out family, including stand-in dad Bobby Ball. There’s bound to be a few disagreements there. Finally, Miranda will be ogling over Peter Andre on Strictly with her two mums – onscreen mother Patricia Hodge and real life mum, Diana.
Airing tomorrow (9 October), Celebrity Gogglebox is part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer programming and will be raising money for Cancer Research UK.
