Catherine Zeta-Jones to play Gone With the Wind star in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Feud’
Oscar-winning Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to return to the world of television by joining Ryan Murphy’s Feud.
We already knew that the upcoming anthology series from the American Horror Story creator will star Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, however we’re very excited to learn that Zeta-Jones will be joining the cast as Olivia De Havilland.
Perhaps best known for playing the angelic Melanie in Gone With the Wind, De Havilland was a close friend of Davis’s and a nemesis of Crawford’s, as the two would often compete for the same roles.
We haven’t seen Zeta-Jones on our screens since the Dad’s Army film, so we’re seriously looking forward to how she brings the timelessly elegant De Havilland, who is now a grand 100 years old, to Feud.
Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis and Dominic Burgess will also star in the new show, which will eventually air on FX.
