Calum Best cancels TV appearances after failing to show up for Bit On The Side

Calum Best has cancelled yet another TV gig after his no show on CBB‘s spin-off series Bit On The Side last night.

The model has appeared to have gone AWOL following his Celebrity Big Brother eviction on Tuesday, mysteriously cancelling his interview on ITV’s Lorraine this morning.

This follows the model’s failure to turn up for his television appearance on Bit On The Side last night. Apparently there had been no word of contact from the star and producers had no idea where Calum was.

Host Rylan Clark-Neal informed viewers at the beginning of the show:

“Finally we were supposed to have Calum Best on, but we genuinely don’t know where he is. This ain’t even a gag. This really ain’t.”

An audience member was then forced to step in last minute and join the panel.

Rylan continued: “So, I had a little thought and thought who could I put in Calum Best’s place tonight? It’s got to be someone quite close to him. So, I love her and I think she deserves this so please be upstanding for our very own Barbara.”

Likewise, this morning Calum was due to appear on ITV’s Lorraine to discuss his time in the house. However, the presenter revealed: “Calum’s called and he’s not well, well someone else called for him. We wish him all the best!”

Calum was forced to walk from the CBB house on Tuesday night after receiving the fewest public votes on eviction night.

He tweeted after his exit: “Been an amazing ride #CBB TBF can’t wait for the real world ✌🏽️YES! #CBBCALUM”

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
