Boy George will not return to The Voice
Boy George has left The Voice after just one series as a judge.
The star took to Twitter to announce his departure from the reality show format, which will be moving from BBC One to ITV from next year. Responding to a fan who asked whether he would return to The Voice, George said: “Not doing this season of The Voice on ITV but sending @iamwill my love. Watch this space for what I am up to! :)”

The news comes after The Voice veteran judge will.i.am was confirmed to be transferring to the ITV series.
The star said: “I’m delighted to be continuing The Voice UK on ITV and being a voice of direction and guidance for the usual suspects …I know The Voice switched to ITV, but I’m not going to Brexit The Voice UK. I’m happy to make ITV my home now. I love the UK.”
ITV has revealed it has picked up The Voice for three series from 2017, and one series of The Voice Kids. will.i.am will star in both.
Judge Ricky Wilson has already quit the show to focus on touring with The Kaiser Chiefs, while Paloma Faith’s return is unconfirmed.
