Better Call Saul Is Top New Cable Show of 2015 So Far
Better Call Saul is cable’s biggest new series of the year, averaging nearly six million viewers throughout its run.
It has fared best amongst adults aged 18-49, averaging 3.7 million.
The Breaking Bad spinoff, starring Bob Odenkirk as the crooked lawyer Saul Goodman (or the yet-to-be crooked lawyer Jimmy McGill), premiered on AMC on February 8. It achieved the highest-ever ratings for a season premiere in cable history delivering to 4.4 million adults aged 18-49 and 4 million adults aged between 25-54.
Better Call Saul was picked up for a second season ahead of its first season premiere, and with these performances it’s not difficult to see why. It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Jimmy McGill.
